Decalepis hamiltonii vs Hemidesmus indicus

Decalepis hamiltonii and Hemidesmus indicus are not the same plant. They are accepted species in different genera, although both belong to the Apocynaceae family and both may be associated with aromatic roots in Indian trade and tradition. Botanical identity should therefore be stated rather than inferred from “Nannari” alone.
